Come Back to Singing, After Years Away

For the woman who's been waiting to sing again. Flexible vocal training for women returning to their voice — no perfect schedule required.

My Story & Why This Matters

I know what it feels like to lose your voice. Not the cords — the part of you that once felt expressive and alive. Years ago I was on stage, living inside music every day. Then life got full: a new career, a family, a longer list of responsibilities. I don't regret a minute of it, but somewhere in the busyness my own song went quiet.

For a long time I thought that chapter was closed. Then I learned something. Voices don't expire. They wait. And when you pick yours back up, it can come back richer than before.

That's why I built Vocal Refresh — a place for women to find their voice again, no matter how many years have passed. This isn't about perfection, performance, or one more thing on your to-do list. It's about putting music back into an ordinary week.

I've watched women who were sure they'd aged out of singing step right back into their voices, and the confidence that follows is something to see. Singing isn't only about hitting notes. It's about feeling like yourself again. Whether it's been five years or twenty-five, your voice is still there. Let's go find it.

My Experience & Approach

You might be wondering who I am to guide you. I'm Ingrid Moss — a vocal coach and performer who walked this road myself. Here's my background at a glance:

- Vocal Coach (25+ years): I've spent more than 25 years helping women of all ages get the thrill of singing back. Teaching voice isn't just my career — it's the thing I was built for.

- Performer (30+ years in musical theatre): From community productions to professional stages, I've been singing and performing for over three decades. I know the rush of the spotlight and the nerve it takes to start over after a break.

- Master's Degree (USC): I earned my Master's in Communication Management at the University of Southern California, where I dug into how the voice works and how we connect through music.

- I Stepped Away Too: I know how easily a passion gets put on pause when life fills up. Stepping away from my own voice — then coming back to it — is what drives me to help other women do the same.

- Flexible, Science-Backed Approach: Singing should fit your life, not the other way around. I pair science-based warm-ups with bite-sized practice plans that fit a real day. Five minutes between meetings genuinely moves the needle.
